Development of Cryopreservation and Thawing Recovery Materials
for 3D Cell Therapeutics and Organoid-Based Therapies

To develop 3D cell survival after freezing and thawing, we designed a hybrid cryoprotective platform incorporating genetically engineered recombinant antifreeze proteins and antioxidants into lipid, gelatin, and hydrogel-based systems

  • Designing a three-dimensional cell cryoprotective platform using recombinant antifreeze proteins and antioxidants

  • Developing a multi-modal delivery system based on lipid membranes, cell-derived membranes, gelatin microparticles, and hydrogels

  • Establishing three-dimensional cell protection strategies encompassing cellular penetration, co-culture, and encapsulation

  • Constructing an evaluation framework to assess cell viability and structural integrity before and after freezing and thawing

  • Proposing a hybrid cryoprotective technology for next-generation storage and transport of three-dimensional cell systems
